How to Save Search Queries

By master_ben

Searching can be very useful but often times I do it redundantly. Until, I found out about saving queries. You'd be amazed at how useful the saved queries are in the future. Here are some quick steps in saving them.

1. On the File menu of the Search Companion window, left-click on Save Search.

2. Prompted by the Save in box, identify the location of where you want it saved. By default, Windows XP saves the query in the My Documents folder with the extension “.fnd”.

3. Type the file name corresponding to the query in File Name box.

4. Click the Save button.
