How to Configure and Use Error Reporting

By ammpy

Sometimes the best way to get to a computer or program errors is to report them to Microsoft. And with Windows XP, this is made possible through its Error Reporting feature. Here's how you configure and use it.

1. Go to the Start menu.

2. Using the right button of your mouse.

3. Click on the Advanced tab and then the Error Reporting.

4. To further configure the feature, you may opt to Disable error reporting but make sure to select But notify me when critical errors occur check box. Specify if you want error reporting done to Windows alone, to programs alone or to both Windows and programs.
