Default Dual boot XP on Windows Vista Ultimate PC

Tried to install XP Pro on Vista Ultimate laptop. Followed instructions in your tuitorial. Created partition no problem.

In step 2 I rebooted Vista and inserted XP disk. Xp started to load but stopped with message that it could not locate a hard drive. My XP disk is original upgrade cd. I have Service Pack 2 on a seperate cd.

Any suggestions.
