Why doesFrontpage shuts down in Vista?

I have Frontpage 2002 installed on my laptop. I am running Vista OS. Everytime I try to edit my website and insert a page into the navigation structure or try to insert a hyperlink, it shut down my Frontpage. Am I missing a network setting or is it picking up on my possible bootleg software?
I did install the SP3 to try to fix it, but luck.
