Wanted: Menu Bar in Vista

By jopes

Using Windows Explorer in Vista can be quite confusing for the first time. The menu bar is lost. The File, View and Help buttons are nowhere to be found. And a whole list of other things. Here is some good news. The menu bar is still there but just hiding.

How do you let it appear?
In the Windows Explorer screen, find the Organize button.
Click on the drop down arrow located beside this button, and then select the Layout option.
Make a check on the box for the option for Menu Bar.
Click Ok when you are done.
And the Menu bar makes its appearance.
