OK!! I actually oveclocked an AMD 2500 Mobile to 2.4 ghz on an ABIT NF7 rev. 2 Board. My heatsink is an SP97 form Thermalright, my memory is PC 3500 OCZ . I also get a 9700 RPO graph card and i'm happy wit hit!!! I play all games i want and that is ok!! Wath i like about overclocking is taht you pay less ( a bit) for your system and you get more performance!!

I would like to upgrade to Athlon 64 n like to overclock a bit without having too much NOISE!!! I DON'T want an X2 CPU, not yet!!

I don't know wich MEMORY and CPU to buy!! Wath would you do!! Here is wat i will buy!!

1-DFI Lanparty UT RDX200 CF-DR ATI Socket 939 ( i'll be able to upgrade to X2 CPU)
2-BFG GeForce 7800 GTX OC 256MB DDR3 PCI Express SLI ( life time warranty)
3-(OCZ Technology-OCZ470ADJ) PowerStream 470W Power Supply With Adjustable Power Rails With LED Indicators

NOW i need your advice for

MEMORY

This one

1- OCZ Gold EL VX PC4000 1GB 2X512MB DDR500 CL2-3-3-8 or
2- Mushkin Redline XP PC4000 1GB 2X512MB DDR500 or
3 WATH???

CPU

1- Athlon 64 3200
2- Athlon 64 3000, step E3
3- Athlon 64 3500

Heatsink on AIR

Before we move onto memory, CPU and the HSF, let's address your motherboard.

Why are you going with a Crossfire motherboard if you are going to use a nVidia card? You need to do a bit more research, SLi = nVidia, Crossfire = ATi. Sure, you can use an ATi card in an SLi board, but the ATi cards do not have the ability to do SLi. Vice versa is the same.

What are the timings for the Redline? Really, I think you'd be safe going with either module kit.

Do they make Venice 3000's? I haven't kept up a whole lot on the processor scene, but the reason to go with a 3200 with the Winchesters is that they had the 10x multiplier unlocked. I've heard great things about the 3500, but I'd say any of those should suit you fine.

As for cooling, I've only used Zalman once. But you can always trust Thermalright.

wow. 3000+ with E3 stepping hard to find. have to buy 2nd hand. anyway it's EOL already, try the 3200+. either change the dfi to the lanparty ut nf4 sli-d version or change gfx to X1800XL. haha. about rams just get those high speed ones. heard dfi mobos had issues with valuerams.

can't go wrong with both coolers.

if u want more info, go read up the reviews. there are tons on them on the internet ... especially for the rams and coolers.
