Tip to unlock the stubborn file or folder

In case anyone missed this neat trick in one of my other posts...

You know how sometimes you cannot get rid of a certain file...you get that error message about it being inaccessible or whatever... there are "file unlockers" around, and many are good, but before trying the unlocker... put a dummy folder on the c:\ and call it what you will...I call mine the Haunted House because its full of goblins and gremlins, etc....

Before I try to unlock the stubborn file or folder, I check to see if it can be dragged and dropped into my Haunted House folder...if so, then that way is a lot easier and faster then going through the rigamarole of trying to unlock it.

Surprisingly, as long as Windows "sees" it is still on the drive, it does not protest too much...

Barring that working, then go through the unlocking process, or delete on the next boot.
