Question Revert Back to Window Xp from Vista

Hi All,

Make long story short. I had desktop computer and i made wrong decision and i installed a vista in it and then i never update that key so now its stucking at the activation code and not letting me do anything. i try to shrink partition into safe mode but its not letting me do that i tried to take back up but safemode not gaveing me that option so i cant take back of that and make shrink.

And when i m putting xp cd into drive its not booting with that cd.
Even i have cd drive as a first boot option into BIOS.

So any other suggestion how i can installed a xp back into this computer.

Plzzzzzzz

I would start from the beginning again.

Download Dban, then follow the instructions very carefully, run the software to completely clean the drive. This will take a little while depending on the speed of your computer.

Put your Win XP cd in the cdr / dvd drive, and follow the instructions for Method 2 for partitioning and installing from Microsoft here.

Remember Vista is evil...
