Hello, if you've got some other software that can play your dvds, like PowerDVD, try that first while running Vista. If your still getting the same problem replace your DVD ROM, borrow one from a friend and see if there's any difference.

If everything works OK with different software then check your codecs/drivers or any other add-ons etc. that you're using on Vista. Try removing/uninstalling anything that you don't need to run WMP11 or updating/rolling back any relative drivers.

Regards

Martin

Default Windows Media Player11

How did you install WMP11? Was it through XP, Vista or did you install your operating system with it already on?

Dvd Widows Media Player11

Are you having the same problem with WMP11 on both operating systems?
Check your TV tuners manufacturer website on any information regarding drivers and/or compatibility issues with Vista and Media Center.

I'll have a look around myself and see if I can find anything for you.

Martin
