but no cd rom .Trying to use a usb port cdrom . Laptop is CTL.

Can i do that .Any help ?
my friend then put my harddrive in his laptop to install op system that did not work .
then had to use disk kill to wipe off my harddrive .. any ideas
besides garbage can ::icon_
