Please see below the lesson I received. Could you please help me clear some doubts in it:

1. What's the error that could be noticed in this code:

2. Does this code link only sites of the same domain ?
I mean: blogspot.com to blogspot.com
NOT: blogspot.com to wordpress.com or
.......................... to myspace.com etc.

3. I am in blogspot.com and this code links me to another
web site in blogspot.com, but not to word press or my space web sites.

Kindly explain.

If it's not working for you look for another error in your code somewhere. (most common errors are unclosed tags)
If you're using a editor that colors tags for you, you should notice an error in the color of the code.

Thanks SnM, am using Note Pad that has no colours. Anyway shall find out soon.

Thank you CodeSmith. I appreciate your immediate response. However, the information you gave me was not at al helpful to me in anyway.
Please forgive me my bluntness. But I cannot help it. And am sure you being a high tech person cannot help but be at your high level.
You see, I am not at all familiar with IT world jargon. You got to come down to my low basic level to make me understand. It may be helpful if there is a level lower than the 'basic' level.

Notepad++ is a note pad that DO have colours (syntax hilighting)


put in google:: Notepad++

its free !! if u use this 'Notepad++ ' it will make it easyR to spot mistakes

Thanks codesmith. Shall try your suggestion. I think this would solve my problem. I had GetDiz and KeyNote. They were not helpful. It takes a month of sundays to learn to use the 'new' ones and then try to execute my wish.
