Default installing 64 xp over 32 vista?


hi i have a gatweway gt 5662 with a amg qaud core 9500 processor..i currently have vista 32 bit installed..i was wondering if it is possible to install 64 bit xp,reason being i dont like vista and i wanna be able to install more ram...if this isnt possible is it possible to install 64 bi vista over top?

I don't like your chances of getting Win XP x64 drivers from Gateway for your computer.

Gateway support is horrendous, and I advise people not to purchase Gateway computers.
