How to Display the Quick Launch Bar

By ema.jeans

If you have programs that you open frequently, you might want to take advantage of one of Windows' useful components, the Quick Launch Bar. Windows Xp can load a lot of programs in the Quick Launch Bar to make it easier for you to access your favorite programs like your browser, Windows Media Player and many others.

To do display the Windows Quick Launch Bar, first you have to right-click on an empty area on your Windows Taskbar and click 'Properties'. Under the 'Taskbar Appearance' on the 'Taskbar' tab, select the 'Show Quick Launch' checkbox by clicking on it. Another way is when you right-click on an empty area on your Windows Taskbar, hover the mouse over 'Toolbars' and the click 'Quick Launch'.
