How to customize favorites folder with your own folders in Windows 7

Favorites is one of the those folders on our computer which we access very often and what if we don’t use the folders present in favorites that much. Then I am going to tell you the way by which you can add the folders that you want in to the favorites section.

Let us start by knowing how to remove the default folders present:

Step 1: Go to favorites.

Step 2: Right click on the default folder that you want to remove.

Step 3: Select remove.

Now the selected folder will be removed from the favorites section. The following steps can be followed to add the desired folder in the favorite section.

Step 1: Open the location that you want to set as the favorite.

Step 2: Right click on the favorite on the left pane.

Step 3: Select the option “Add current location to favorites” or you can jus drag the folder into the favorite section.

The folder will now come up in the favorite section. Add your favorites to the favorites.
