How to avoid receiving/sending duplicate messages in Outlook?

There is one common problem in outlook is that we may receive duplicate messages and sometimes we intend to send in the same message again. It may create problem sometimes and when you are at work place it will really effect the impression if you intend to send the same message again. We are here to help you with this problem. There is no straight solution for this but there is a work around.

How to stop getting duplicate e-mails into your inbox?

Step 1: Launch Outlook.
Step 2: Go to Tools -> E-mail Accounts.
Step 3: Click on the option “View or change existing e-mail accounts” and click next.
Step 4: Now select your account.
Step 5: Click on the “More settings” options.
Step 6: Go to advanced tab and deselect the option “Leave a copy of messages on the server.
Step 7: Click on OK.

How to Stop sending the duplicate mails from outbox?

There is no particular reason due to which you may end up sending the same message again and again. The only reason may be the anti virus is not configured to check the each mail that you send. The solution may be to configure your anti virus such that it takes your confirmation every time you send the mail.
