Hiding Read Email Messages in Vista

By juls.dave

If you cannot read your new messages anymore because the Inbox in Windows Mail, Outlook Express or Windows Live Mail is too crowded, then you can resolve this by hiding the messages that you have already finished reading.

If you use Outlook Express, make a right click on the toolbar and select the Views Bar. Choose to Hide Read Messages in Views. For Windows Live Mail and Windows Mail, you have to go first to View, then Current View, and then choose Hide Read Messages. So now, your read messages are hidden, giving the Inbox more space to show the new emails.
