Default Is this hardware compatable

have you looked at your startup pane in "MSCONFIG"?
Go to RUN and type in: MSCONFIG
Be very carefull here, you can stuff up your whole PC. Only click on the START UP pane. There you will see a list of programs that are running in the back ground. Some programs have a seperate listing that will read "tray" somewhare in the name. Simply find the program you are looking for and deselect it. If you have installed programs that you wish not to run at startup, but rather start them manualy, you can do it here too. Good luck!!!
