I uninstalled my Norton anti-virus then it displayed some error I dont know .I wanted to trouble shoot so I restored it to previous day.Now I am not getting any error after logging in. But I saw that still norton is there in my desktop and also in Add or remove program .When I tried to remove it from Add or remove programe it is showing error that file location not found.so anybody plz help me out to remove this programe completely.

You may have to reinstall Norton and then use the norton remover.

Avast is a good free virus protection program.

Don't panic - you are much better off without it!

To get this wretched programme off your pc you must remove it from the Registry. To do this effectively use a programme called Registry Crawler - one installed you have 30 day full licence. Just type in "Norton", highlight all the found entries and DELETE, then type "Symantec" - highlight all entries and delete.

Reboot

Install AVG Free antivirus

install avg. thats a helpfull advice install tune up utilities, it has everything in it, from registry defrag till windows vissual appearance. and btw u only got windows problem, my norton did a litle revenge for unninstalling him. i just needed to reinstall windows thats all , so u got lucky

Or you can also try finding softwares that help you to definitely uninstall softwares and get rid of them, you can try Unlocker, Your Uninstall, Easy uninstaller, but do not install Norton in your computer again.
