Default windows 98 error "invalid system disk

i recently bought a new pc and began to delete some file on my old one running 98. i then shut down and rebooted. i rcvd an error "invalid system disk" i have determined that i need to install setup disk, but i don't have one. the computer came with a license only and no disk. what are my options. all i really want to do is print some of my word files.

Does the new pc have an operating system windows 98 or xp ?
Does it have a floppy drive ?
Do you have a floppy ?
If the answer is yes you can make your own boot floppy

You could download a copy of the windows 98 boot disk from bootdisk.com and that shouldl get you to a c: prompt
From there you could copy the files needed onto a floppy and from there to your new pc
Hope that helps

Perhaps I misunderstood your situation.
In your first post you said "i recently bought a new pc and began to delete some file on my old one running 98"
By that I assumed you have two pc's the new one with windows xp and the old one with windows 98
Is this correct ?
Since you deleted some of the files in your old pc you probably deleted some of the files needed by the operating system
The boot disk was for the windows 98 pc so you can get some of your files from there

Now you are saying you want to format your pc that has xp with windows 98 ?
Are you sure you want to do that ?
Is there any reason why you wnat to do that ?

It's a little bit hard to understand your english and what you are trying to do
Let me see if I can understand
Are you saying that you have one pc with 2 hard drives ?
Is this a new pc ?
Did this pc work before you started deleting files ?
