trouble how to instal OS on notebooks??


ok ive downloaded Vindows Vista,(iso file) my friend had it too, we both write the image with nero the same way,now he instaled windows vista with Boot, icant do that , because i dont know the Pheonix net bios 4,0 settings to boot with cd , so i tryed to install it from windows, but when the instaler reache about 40 % it says the files are missing or corupt do any1 know how to Set the settings on bios?ß my cpu is Clevo m400a

You DOWNLOADED Vista? Full version? If this is the case I suggest one thing, since the beta versions stopped working when Vista came out to purchase. Buy the ORIGINAL. Asking how to make illegal copies of software work will NOT do you any favours here.

I downloaded Full Windows Vista Ultimate, Because noone Buys these things no more,But now you can close the tread, because i instaled it with cd boot, u just need to change the booting order,and thats it

I can assure you plenty of people do - the only people that should be downloading Vista and installing it gratis are Microsoft Certified Partners and Resellers with volume licenses.

I'm not a fan of piracy and don't support it, though grudgingly accept that it's part and parcel given the advent of fast Internet connections.

I'd try and encourage you to purchase Vista if I thought it would do any good! I know that software licenses are grossly overpriced but I do not advise anyone to steal - things like this have a habit of backfiring and it is only a matter of time before the authorities come down hard.

On that note I'll step off my sandbox and close this thread as per request.
