Did you type your password into that UAC thingy? Try that and see what happens.

You will probably be better of waiting till a Visto user comes along, as I do not use it...

A guest account is an account for users who don't have a permanent account on your computer or domain. It allows people to use your computer without having access to your personal files. People using the guest account can't install software or hardware, change settings, or create a password.

I don't know how you were able to turn an existing account into a guest account, so I'll give you some options on ways you may be able to access the administrators rights.

What access does the 'Other User' account have. Can you log in to that user and change the user accounts in the control panel?

Or you can try to change it to the admin account. Click on start menu, right click
on Computer, Click on manage. Go to Local use and groups -> Users. Right
click on Guest -> properties
Click the second tab "Member of". Click on Add. Add the Administrators group
to the guest account. Click ok.

Or enabe the administrator account at log on screen.
If you can access the administrative tools, right click on Local Security Policy, and run as administrator

Last time i change my user name on run user passwords2. Then when i restart my computer again, my log in became a guest account.

The access 'other user' account is same Santo(guest account).
Of course i can log in but still i can't change anything.

I already try to manage my computer, but the computer ask me to enter adminitrator password(though i blank my admin pass).
It made me confuse cause no space to type the words on it.
Here the pic

My friend suggested me to use safe mode option, but in vista i don't know in which place. Anyone know? Help me please....

I have a fairly new Dell Inspiron ( less than 1 year)that has Windows Vista Premium installed. Out of the blue a couple months ago,it would not let me log in as Administrator. I eventually called the Dell Tech support and had to wipe everything off and use the recover disc to reinstall. The screen doesnt look the same as before. I hope this horror story does not happen to you.
