Download Your Facebook Profile

Have you ever thought about downloading your facebook profile? Wouldn’t it be nice if you could save your Facebook friend links, pictures, events, wall posts and messages? Facebook now allows you to preserve your fond facebook memories using this download tool.


From your Facebook account, click Account, click Account Settings
Notice the section “Download Your Information

This new Facebook feature enables you to download your profile info such as photos, videos, wall posts, friends, and other content that you have shared on your profile.


Click the Download button

Facebook will give you a ZIP file that contains all your profile information. The downloaded facebook profile will be browseable as if it were really on the Facebook website.



Your whole Facebook Profile contains a lot of information – wall posts, pictures, videos, and other links that you have shared. Facebook. It gives you a notice that it will take some time to compile all your profile information, and that a security check on your account will be required before you can download


Click the Download button



Your request for Facebook Profile download is now in progress.

Facebook servers are automatically compiling your profile information. You will receive an email when the download is ready.



The email notification arrives




Clicking the download link points you to the Facebook download page. To confirm security, you will be asked to type-in your password. Afterwards, the download begins. My facebook profile is approximately saved in a 20MB zip file!

Double-click the index.html file to open your saved facebook profile



My Facebook Profile and links to wall posts, messages, photos, friends list

• The Friends List is an alphabetical listing of all my facebook friends
• The Messages link, shows a chronological text archive of all my sent and received facebook messages
• The Wall link, shows all the wall posts that I have made


Download and save your facebook profile now! It makes a good archive if your facebook account. As you create more facebook wall posts, receive messages, and add new friends, downloading backups of your facebook profile will help you keep track of your facebook account changes.
