If you have been using Windows 7, then you must have already understood that you can tweak it to a great extent in order to suit your way of working.

Windows 7 features a wonderful feature called Library. Libraries as actually the virtual folders which contain the links to other files and folders. By links, it is clear that Libraries do not contain actual data.

You can use this feature to add links to your favorite music album or the folders that you access very often. It is just like collecting the shortcuts to the files and folders that are frequently accessed by you.

METHOD 1:

Below are the steps to add new location to Windows 7 Library:

Step 1: Right click on the Library location and choose PROPERTIES.

Step 2: Now a dialog box opens, there click on the INCLUDE A FOLDER button.

Step 3: Then you can mention the path to the folder that you want to add and that is all.

METHOD 2:

The other way to add folders to Windows 7 library is simple and easy.

Step 1: Right click on the folder that you want to add to the Windows 7 library.

Step 2: Click on the option labeled as INCLUDE IN LIBRARY.

Or you can simply drag a file or folder into the Library to add it to the Windows 7 library.

Libraries are an amazing addition to Windows 7. Make the best of it.
