Default Windows Notepad

Notepad is easy to use. Used it for several months. But at times when a piece
of script is uploaded - - - copy and paste - - - it takes in the script ''three'' times. Am not aware of this more-than-required-in-take. After few days while
working on the file or folder am confused coz of the repetitions.

Why does Notepad copy, at times, thrice ?

Now am using Word Pad ... works wonderfully well.

Thank you for the kind advice ... am happy with Word Pad ... just wanted to know why Notepad is in the habit of copying things thrice ... NOT each time of copying, but once in a way it does... mere curiosity.
