Laptop window xp installation without cdrom using laptop


Hi gud am.. i had a laptop brand samsung and my cdrom didn't work and i want to install windows xp.. how could i work it? pls help..tnx

Take the laptop to a dealer and get the cdrom replaced. You are just wasting your time trying to install XP without it...

As in what wombat said.....go get a new cdrom installed. There is just too much involved in trying to do the installation without it and having the right stuff to do the job is the other issues.

but my laptop is out of warranty.. is there any choice in solving it..pls help..

As I said above, take into a dealer and get the drive replaced. Computers go out of warranty all the times, and computer parts fail so you have to pay for new ones.

There's no free ride in the world mate...

why not copy the cd to a thumbdrive and use that to install windows?
