Default Unable to uninstall IE8 and restore IE7

I have installed Internet Explorer 8 Beta 2. It is giving problems while viewing some web pages. I am unable to uninstall IE8 and go back to IE7. I am using Windows Vista Business. IE8 is not shown in Programs&Features of Control panel and list of updates in Windows Update menu. Even system restore utility is of no use because restore dates available are after IE8 was installed.

Windows Internet Explorer 8 is not considered to be a ‘programme’. Instead, IE8 is categorized as an ‘update’, yeah right.

To uninstall Internet Explorer 8, go to Control Panel, and click on Uninstall Programs link or Programs and Features icon. Then on Tasks pane on the left, click on View installed updates link.

Locate and select Windows Internet Explorer 8 in the list of installed updates, and then click on the Uninstall button. As you want to remove IE 8 select Yes...
