Default Sonic DVD burning error code

I am trying to back up my Itunes by burning to a dvd. It reads the entire library, at the end I get "error 4480" unable to burn to disc. Any idea what my problem is?

As you know this could be a software or a hardware problem, apart from buring music files form iTunes, have your tried buring some thing else like other data etc.. Just to make sure the DVD disk, and drive are fine.

I recently had the hard drive & mother board replaced, haven't tried to burn anything since the hardware replacements. All they wanted was my recovery disc for xp. should I have one for the sonic program too?

I'd try burning from within iTunes itself too, its a full function program that will copy tracks from the CDs you put into it, store them, sort them as you like, have all the info you want about the track, and let you create playlists to burn to CD - and you can burn to disk right from within the program.

it will do the entire library and playlists if you choose that option,
can select to only backup iTunes store purchases,
and can do incremental backup only - only those added since the last backup.

Now where'd I get it?
How to back up your media in iTunes they DO know how to do support right

I attempted to use the I-Tunes program to back up my files, but that's where I encountered the dvd record failure in addition to the Sonic program attempt. I tried the back up with cd's and it worked fine. I had to use 5 cd's vs. 1 dvd.

Thanks for the suggestion!
