Default RAM and hard drive size


hi!..i have an old pc here at home...i forgot how big the RAM and the hard drive was...is there a way i can check this?

Are you able to boot or start OS on that computer,

if yes then you can right click on your "My Computer" icon and select Properties to find out the details of your RAM.

To find the size of your hard disk double click on "My Computer" there you can see the details of your hard disk usually C: check Total Size

Note that the size of your hardrive could be a strange number, eg: 114GB, while it is true they do not actually make 114GB hard drives, the degree of error is 10%, thus the drive would be considered a 120GB, with only a 5% or 6GB loss (which isn't bad on large drives).
