Question Profile picture

Hello Lurks

For my user profile in syschat i used a photo. But it doesn't show for my username. It shows only my user name: "poojasree, member". The photo file size is 40kbytes only.

How to set the picture for my profile

regards
r. dillikumar

Register for free at Photobucket.com

This is a free photo hosting website. Just register or choose someone else and upload pictures from your computer to them. Once the pictures are uploaded then various links will automatically be made under each picture so that it can be posted in websites such as SysChat. Syschat uses regular URL linking so the link to select would be the ...http://....

In the user cp select 'edit profile picture' in the left pane. In the pop-up window paste the URL where it is suppose to go and click upload. Then click save button... The picture if done correctly should be seen in the space provided. If not then you need to recheck the URL and make sure it was copied and pasted correctly..

NOTE***** there is an http:/.... already shown in the window. It needs to be removed prior to pasting the complete URL from the photo hosting site.*********

I prefer to use a photo hosting website because some security programs will not allow the links to an active website to remain open. Once the security program shuts down the link the photo dissapears from the website it was posted on!

Hope that helps.....

On a personal note.....please do not address your threads directly to me...I am honored that you did so but it will keep others from answering your threads. This is not fair to the forums or to the other members!
