Problem with Dual Boot Vista and XP

I have Vista installed and want to dual boot with XP. I have created partition to install XP. When booting up from XP CD to do the XP install Laptop blue screens with a "STOP 0*0000007E PCI.SYS" error. I am following instructions from http://www.syschat.com/dual-boot-vis...eady-1946.html.

Any help would be much appreciated
