Default Note Pad of Windows

I do not have Office Word and therefore rely on Note Pad.

Until a few days back Note Pad was ok. It had a scroll bar on the side that helped scroll up and down.

I can adjust the length and breadth to required sizes and work with Note Pad on a side with a Window on the other.

Suddenly the lay out of Note Pad has changed. It has an additional SCROLL BAR at the bottom. [Where else to have ?]

This is most inconvenient . . . wish to be rid of it, the new scroll bar at bottom.

Could anyone please tell me how.

If you want a Office Suite that is completely free / gratis / no cost, and any other such word. Go here and download OpenOffice.org.

It is the very top download, the one that says:

Download OpenOffice.org

Click to start downloading OpenOffice.org 2.4.0 for Windows, (US English version)

download: OpenOffice.org Downloads

Thank you Wombat, I have had Open Office earlier. It needs more space than Office Word. My windows xp Tiny compells me to be frugal space-wise.

Oh, thanks Lurks, when I clcked on 'Word Wrap' it did the trick and I felt damn foolish.

Thank you very much, Sir, I am very grateful to you.
