Microsoft is due to issue seven new security alerts, at least two of which are graded critical because they involve security holes.
Four of the alerts relate to problems with the Windows operating system, and another relates to both Windows and Microsoft Office. The last two relate to Office and Windows Media Player, respectively. Microsoft is due to issue patches for the vulnerabilities on Tuesday, as part of a regular security update. Details of the potential damage resulting from these latest security flaws have not yet been made public.
