Make your caps lock button beep

Isn’t it annoying to accidentally hit the caps lock button and not even know until you have already messed up your work? Here is a quick tip to rid you of this problem. Using Windows Vista, click on Start, then Control Panel, then on the Ease of Access link. Select the link for changing how your keyboard works and when the window pops up, turn on toggle keys.

This enables a sound to be heard when you inadvertently press the keys for Caps Lock, Num Lock and Scroll Lock on your keyboard. Then try hitting the key to check if a sound occurs. If it does, then you are all set to type to your heart’s content!
