Thumbs up Internet Disconnect Problem

Hey guys, i have got a comp with several different accounts, so i switch user and log of a lot, so whenever i do that from some accounts with a internet connection on, it disconnects it, but from other accounts, it just asks if u want to disconnect it or not. Can anybody tell me how i can disbale this, so that my internet connection is on all the time unless i disconnect it myself. Thanks for any replies.

What edition of Windows XP are you running? Also, what kind of internet connection do you have? Is it cable or DSL? Do they require you to login before you can access the internet? Or do they automatically assign you an IP address?

By default most windows disconnect from the internet on a logoff or hibernation. Since you have dial-up, i'm not sure it's possible to force this connection to stay active without ensuring that the connection itself is available to all users.
