Default IE opening as very small window..

When I open up Internet Explorer (I dont use it all the time but seems Micro$oft want me to use it when checking for updates), the window is only about 1 inch square instead of the usual full screen. Any ideas on what could be the cause?

Maximise the IE window and hold <ctrl> key and close the window.

Next time when you open the window it will be normal size.

Thank you for that answer. I have the same problem. I know this is an idiot question. But do I hold the ctrl button at the same time of clicking on the maximise?

no,
the holding of control saves the current settings as the default on a close operation, so holding on closing the window will do just fine.

Wow I never knew that. I had it happen before and after a while it seemed to fix itself, but this is a good tip to know.
