Sir,

I'm studying computer science engineering course as a degree and i now entered into last semester of my course so i had a mini project and a major project to be done so I'm looking for the ideas which must be new unique but realized that it's not possible so I'm hoping that anyone of this community will help me by giving the ideas to implement as a mini and major project (both differ in their structure of course ) so please give me some suggestions for my development

Is the project software only? If not, what are the limitations on accessible hardware?

I recently finished a major project capturing 3D models with a laser scanner and textured the models using images from a webcam.

Another project could be a distributed game? Even something simple could be turned into a major project if you added the use of gyros or similar device to be used as a controller.

Hey Sudhir,
You can do your mini and major project on image processing. I suggest you to work in face
Recognition algorithm in 3D images for your major project and line detection algorithm
Development for your mini project.
Since in face recognition, lot of work has been done in only 2D images and field of 3D images
has not experienced major research so you can do something new and creative in this field.
For your mini project , you may work on a line detection algorithm which will detect a
line in an given image and to display position of a vehicle relative to line(behind the line, on
the line, ahead of line).
So if u are interested in these projects , I can provide you details.
