what is the best way to test ur internet speed? how to do it and what # is considered a good speed??

The easiest way to test your broadband speed is at a website like the ones here or here. Make sure that you have nothing else using the internet when you do the test or the results will be inaccurate. As for a good speed, that all depends on the speeds advertised by your ISP and what you are paying for.

Whats your speed meant to be from your ISP?
For a 512Kbps connection its quite good, as its a bit faster than your paying for.
For a 1Mbps connection however its bad. All I can have in my area is a 1Mbps connection but my speed test was rated at 1104Kbps.
