How to restore the Run Command in Windows 7?

Windows 7 has got many new and exciting features in it but there are few things which are not available in Windows 7. Few things we are used to from the previous versions of Windows.

One of the features that we use often in previous versions of windows is the Run Command, which has been replaced by the Search panel. The following steps will guide you to restore the Run command back.

Step 1: Right click on the Windows 7 task bar.

Step 2: The Taskbar and the Start Menu properties will open up.

Step 3: Select the Start menu tab.

Step 4: Click on the customize button.

Step 5: Scroll down to the Run Command and select the check box against it.

Step 6: Click on OK.

Step 7: It will bring you back to the Taskbar and the Start Menu properties menu. Click on Apply and OK.

That’s all now you have got your Run Command back on the start menu. Which can be used as you are habitual to it as in the earlier versions of the Windows.
