How to Increase Your SATA Hard Drive Performance

If you want to increase the performance of Serial ATA (SATA) drive you can easily do that by enabling the write caching feature in windows vista system. In vista system this feature is turned off by default. Follow the steps below to enable this feature to increase performance.

1) Click on Start
2) Type "device manager" (without quotation) in the Search field.
3) From Device Manager window, navigate to your disk drive section
4) Right click your hard disk
5) Select the Policies tab
6) Tick a check-mark in the check-box titled: Enable advanced performance.
