Browser Internetexplorer Help with my web site

How can I get my web site out. I want to be able to search major sites like google or msn to find my site. If possible it needs to be free.

You can use some free website submission tools like this (Free Web Submission: Free Search Engine Submission and Site Promotion ) to submit your site for free.

Google bot can take quite a while to add your site to the database, it's not instant. It links all your pages together and links to any other sites your site is linked to. Even when it has done all this it still takes time to add it to the data base.

Try searching for your sites exact url to see if it has been added, if it has then it will take time to move up the ranking as Google sets out pages by relevance then popularity.

yes i talk quite frequently with an admin of a popular "computer" site and he spends a fair amount each month to make sure the site is in the top 10 for a few keyword searches on google. Google specifically has mostly to do with linkbacks (or adds, and user links) to the site, this increases a site's popularity in the search under the keywords associated with the linkbacks.

I have heard of sites taking upwards of a month but others only taking a week, I suppose it depends on how many sites have been submitted and if Google are updating thier site list at the time. Just have to be patient thats all!
