Ok first things first, I have Windows 98 located in a laptop.

I need windows XP installed but I don't know how. And I don't have a disk.

The disk drive has stuffed up..

Do I need the disk drive to work to be abled to install windows XP?

You can install XP without a CD drive, but you will need a copy of the CD.
