To have a removal we need to know what virus it is.
Also did you format your drive, or just install Windows overtop again? Without doing a clean install the virus is still on your system.

It sounds as though you have more issues than just your folder option, have you noticed any other odd events in the last while?

Accept Retrive Folder option

If folder option is not seen please try it by registry editing.

Open Run and then type “gpedit.msc”.
Now goto
User Configuration > Administrative templates > Windows Component > Windows Explorer.

Click on Windows Explorer you will find the 3rd option on the right side of screen
“Removes the Folder Option menu item from the Tools menu”

Just check it,

if it is not configured then change it to enable by double clicking on it and after applying again set it to not configured.I hopes that you will find the option after restarting windows.

Check out the my blog for more help

gpedit.msc is the group policy editor, not registry, but often has the siilar effects.
