Exponents in Microsoft Excel

You have to do a project in Microsoft Excel that deals with exponents. Unfortunately, your knowledge in Excel only stretches up to the basic operations. So how do you do it? There are a couple of ways to make exponents. For example you need to enter in five raised to the power of eight. You put this into the cell: “=5^9” wherein the first number is the base and the second is the exponent. Another way is to put the formula =Power(5,9) also with the first number as the base and the second number as the exponent. The numbers can be replaced using cell references, making your formula more flexible. Now you are an Excel Exponent Expert!
