Default every time I open any video file I get a blue screen

Hi there,
every time I open any video file I get a blue screen and my computer restarts. It is the second time I have the same problem. The first time, after removing an unknown device under the sound, video and game controllers and gamer osd (extra of VGA DRIVER cd) everythingn was fine.
Now there is no unknown device or gamer osd to remove!!!!
Any idea???
THANXX

The blue screen has a error number on it, and to find out what the error number is do this:

Right mouse click on the My Computer icon / select Properties / Advanced / Settings under System Failure take the tick out of the Automatically restart box. Then click OK and Apply.

You can then search Google for the error message, and what actions you need to do to stop it happening again...
