trouble DUAL BOOT SYS - XP to Vista Home Premium

Hi,

I recently upgraded from XP to Windows Vista Home Premium. I am a NEWBIE at this stuff; I needed/wanted to do a clean installation but made the wrong choice and now have a dual boot system. I have major security problems and I think that after using Microsoft Baseline Scan and it gives me fixes (I do the fixes, reboot, run scan again and nothing changes, so I think that I am doing fixes to Vista but the changes need to be done in XP) but the issues are in XP and I don't know how to switch and don't want to use XP any longer

I need HELP on instructions to REMOVE XP completely but save/burn it to DVD IF possible because ex-domestic partner took or destroyed original XP Home Edition disc. This is one reason WHY I need to remove XP because of the evil despicable excuse for a human being (took me for all I was work, but that is a whole other issue!

Also, I have Adobe Album Starter and it is holding my pictures HOSTAGE and I can NOT figure out how to burn them to DVD. You see when I installed Vista, I did something and the pictures are no longer in a folder and when I do anything in Adobe it is looking for these pictures in my documents/pictures folder which is empty, ugh! So I can NOT use, burn or email any because it is looking for them elsewhere.

One other thing; Microsoft Baseline suggested that I convert from FAT to NTFS, how is this done?? Or IF I remove XP will NTFS already be in Vista Home Premium and then I don't need to convert? I followed their "How to Fix" instructions and they were as clear as mud to me, the documentation didn't seem to be the same prompts as was in control panel, duh!

Being a NEWBIE I hope my questions are clear and precise to obtain much needed help A.S.A.P.!
