I only tried Bit Torrent once and got half of the downloads and couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong.

I was a former Napster and Kazaa user before they became scarry to use...

Could be many problems,
not enough seeders
ISP dropped your connection
firewall blocking port

Try downloading a show from here. Test your connection in the software to make sure you can make connections.
