Default best places to find scripts?

I've known of hotscripts.com for quite some time now, but does anyone know of any others?
The type of scripts I'm looking for are PHP/Jave scripts as well as tutorials for a non-profit project I'm making.
Thanks in advance,
Melinda

In my first experience of web designing, I used ready use Javascripts from http://www.dynamicdrive.com . It's not bad either, worth to take a look!

Default Calendar Script ?

I have been trying to find a nice simple calendar for my blog. I see almost everyone has one but me... I have not been successful. I am at blogspot.com. We have access to the template. I'd like to be able to pop a short and sweet calendar script into it and then get on with things.

Any suggestions as to where I can find one? There are lots out there, but too involved and complicated for my tastes.
