Default Anyone here owns flash drive?

Personally, I bought Toshiba's 1GB flash drive and I like it very much. Easier than burning into CD's or even better than floppy disks. I simply slide into USB and stuck a lot of files inside (even a program installation). Well, I usually hang it around my neck rather than keeping it in my pocket, looks cool!

I've got the newest 1 GB Transcend Jetflash, but I think the design is flawed - there is no cap. You just press a little tab to get it to slide out and back in, so dirt and dust can get in too easily. Not good if you are into just throwing stuff into your knapsack.

Yeah I have a flash drive as well... a 512 MB flash drive, which I often use to take big projects to and from school. The problem is that in my school, many people don't use floppies properly (usually ruin the floppy drive), so if you wan't to use any portable device it should be a USB flash drive.

I also have a 512 MB iPod which I use for transfering files, since I don't use it a lot it's sort of used for storage now.

It's extremly handy to have a USB flash drive (or an extra iPod) around!

I have a 32mb (oldskool i know) smartmedia usb drive from universal, which has either disappeared from the computer industry or merged to a new website, or i would post it here. it isn't the largest, but i've never had compatability issues like i've seen on some of the larger versions. It's large enough to store webpages, and assignments, but i usually use my new 30GB iPod for anything of real importance.

I have a 512MB Lexar JumpDrive. it is great. I download stuff at work slap it on my drive then when I get home load it on my computer. It is a great advantage since I am on Dial-Up at home and work is a T-1 connection.
