First thing you must determine is whether your computer can support windows XP. To do this you must research all hardware that is installed and see if there are XP drivers available to run the hardware.

Check the driver download page of the manufacturer's website for that model of computer and see if there is indeed an option for windows XP as an operating system.
If not then you must run a system check for all the hardware installed and then google the web for xp drivers for that hardware.
