Default Using a Floppy Program to Boot off a External DVD drive

I want to install debian linux on my laptop, but it does not have an internal DVD drive, and i DO NOT want to buy a new drive, as i have a an external one.

I want to know if anyone has a bootable floppy image that will enable my laptop to boot off of my external USB DVD drive, or another way to do it.

Thanks
